This is my first experience that I am sharing in my diary & I want to start with an incident that I never thought would happen in my life . I celebrated te birthday of my favourite friend , well one would ask me what’s so unique about this . well my favourite friend here in this case is my pet pug TIGGER .
Yes a few people might laugh at this , like I used to do when I would hear about other people doing something like this celebrating a pet’s birthday . but now I suddenly realize the kind of emotional bonding that happens between a human & an animal . inspite of being so dissimilar in every aspect apart from not being able to communicate through words there is still a strong connection between the 2 species .
It is this connection that led to my little sister deciding to have a birthday party for tigger & we as a family joining in as the little pug has become the darling of just about everybody in the family as well as the locality . a prime example are the presents which the kids of the locality brought for her . it was a splendid bash & tigger was surprisingly well behaved , cutting the cake & licking it from my sisters hand just like a 2 yr old toddler
As for me the responsibility of taking care of the dog has made me much more responsible as a person . I have had dogs before but none that I remember taking so much care of . I m happy to find him there every morning just when I open my eyes & same is the case with the entire family .
Touchwood this bonding between my family & my best friend remains forever .
